Santiago Royo will present a seminar showing the latest achievements and perspectives of use of Lidar, time-of-flight, electro-optical and single photon imaging systems for vehicles with different levels of automation, and in different environments and applications. Lidar technology is one of the drivers of the growth in the photonics markets, presenting perfect complementarity with well-known radar and imaging sensors. Our approach to lidar sensing enabling long-range measurements with large spatial resolution, based in a solid-state approach will be discussed in depth.
