The purpose of this workshop is to bring together new concepts in advanced optical technologies applied to aeronautics demanding needs. The aim to discuss new technical challenges for aeronautics, advanced optics and laser-based solutions.
Jordi Riu, will present a seminar showing the latest achievements and perspectives of use of Lidar, time-of-flight, electro-optical and single photon imaging systems for applied for aeronautics. Our approach to lidar sensing enabling long-range measurements with large spatial resolution, based in a solid-state approach will be discussed in depth.
